It is important that all glazing complies with regulations, any glass that persons can come into collision with must be protected, toughened or break safely.
Also fire safety must not be compromised. Your supplier should advise you on this. Conservatories are generally exempt from other building regulations, as long as they are built at ground level with a floor area less than 30m² and are single storey.
You should always check with your supplier or local planning authority regarding planning permission and building regulations.
